Alyssa Malana - Alyssa is a first-year Lady Duck player this season. Stepping up into the 16U division is tough but she has shown a great deal of tenacity on the ice all year. She has strengthened her scoring touch throughout the season finding ways to get odd-man rushes and put the puck in the net. She is near the top of her team in goals scored. Noelle White - WOW!! There's not a lot more to say about her! A first-time ice hockey player and goalie, Noelle went from just learning to deal with ice hockey skates to playing with the Lady Ducks in the Peewee A division in SCAHA. She saw a consistent drop in her goals-against as the season went on. She was outstanding in girls' Tournaments. And, she'll be returning to the 12U team next year. Noelle had an incredible season and topped it off with an amazing Pacific District Championships, allowing only 2 goals in 6 games! What an effort, NoEEEE.

Jennifer Sierra - Little Jen Jen. Jennifer is a mite-aged player on the 10U team. This is her second year on the Lady Ducks and although it took a lot of patience while she grew into her age group, she has stepped up to shine on the scoreboard this month, in amazing fashion. With fast skating, driving to the net and an overall improvement in reading the play, puck control and passing, Jennifer has started to come into her own. 10U - Justine Silva

Justine Silva

Michelle Kaufman - Michelle came to the Lady Ducks, at age 14, as a roller hockey player with almost NO ice skating experience. In just 2 1/2 years she has trained very hard and developed into one of the top skaters on her team and is a strong team leader as 16U Captain. She is a strong offensive force and a play maker on every shift. Michelle had a great month of February, capping it off with a big tournament Championship at the Arizona Selects' Invitational, Presidents' weekend. She will be looking forward to Prep School/Hockey Academy exposure next season as she heads into her Senior year of High School. Good Luck, Michelle!

Kaliya Johnson - Kaliya has been a Lady Duck since age 8 1/2 when she started on the 12U team (there was NO 10U team back then!). Kaliya's dream was to be the First Female African-American on the US Olympic Ice Hockey TEAM. She has worked hard to achieve a high level of skill and understanding of the game which has brought her to the point of being one of the best defensemen in the country at her age group! "Shorty" has also honed her skills in youth/boys' leagues in SCAHA and now in Arizona, her new home. Kaliya's play was instrumental in the strong defensive showing at the Girls 12U Pacific Districts where the Lady Ducks only allowed 2 goals the whole tournament. Great work!

Justine Silva - Holy Moly, who's that goalie??!! Justine is just 9 years old like most of her 10U teammates but, her skills have developed quickly as a 2nd year player in the Lady Ducks Club! Justine is a pint-sized power goalie with a quick glove hand. She has improved her fundamentals tremendously over the past 8 months and still has another year in net for the 10U team. Justine had an outstanding Arizona tournament helping to backstop the Lady Ducks team and earn a 3rd place finish at the Arizona Selects' Invitational. Great job, Justine!

Nicole Silva - Nicole is 13 years old and in her 2nd year with the Lady Ducks. Nicole plays up on the 16U team this year and is one of the team's scoring leaders. Nicole moved up from the 12U Pacific District Championship team and is a strong presence on the ice. She moved from Defense earlier in the season to provide a strong scoring punch in the month of January for the 16s. Great effort at every practice and a strong competitive spirit make Nicole a stand out on the ice for the Lady Ducks and on her elite club soccer team. Congratulations Nicole!

Emma Tani - Emma is in her third year as a Lady Duck and has played for both the 10U and 12U teams. She is strong student in school and is a versatile player who plays both Forward and Defense for her team. She plays for both the Lady Ducks and the Junior Ducks youth (boys) Peewee A1 team as well, which keeps her on the ice six and sometimes seven days a week! Emma has developed a wicked slap shot and is one of the fastest skaters in girls 12U hockey in the country! Congratulations Emma.

Onya Sterling - Onya is in her 3rd year in the Lady Ducks program but has been a Lady Duck In Training from Hockey Initiation through Mites and Squirts with the Junior Ducks and Anaheim ICE coaching staff. Having just turned 10 years old in February, Onya not only has another year with the 10U team but also is playing on the 12U team to gain a higher level competitive experience. Onya is the Lady Ducks 10U leading scorer and plays both defense and forward for the team. She has also scored 2 goals this season for the 12s. She always has a positive attitude and works very hard to keep up with her "big sisters" on the 12s. Way to go, Onya.

Beth wants to be a US Olympian in women's ice hockey when she gets older! 2014/2018?? here she comes!!!!

Katie Tong November 2005

Katie Tong

Katie is an Assistant Captain on the 12U team. Katie has been with the Lady Ducks program since her second year of squirts, when she played both boys and girls hockey. Katie is one of the leading play makers and scorers on the team and also shows her leadership by skating 5 or 6 days a week as she works toward someday playing in college. "Tiger" also participates at Anaheim ICE on the youth peewee B tournament teams to keep her skills sharp and get some time playing checking hockey.

Jennifer Jones October 2005

Jenny Jones

Jenny Jones plays on both the 10U and 12U teams. Jenny converted from a skater to goalie in March of 2005 and is the back up goalie for the 12U AAA team. Jenny skates out as a center for the 10U team. Jenny travels from Temecula to Anaheim three or more times a week to practice and play with the Lady Ducks. "Jonesy" is a hard worker who is improving at both positions and who always has a smile on her face.

Kelly Biddle September 2005

Kelly Biddle

Kelly has been a Lady Duck since the beginning of the Girls' program in 1999. She has been a standout every year on all LD teams, 12U, 14U and 16U. We wish her luck as Kelly will be heading east to the NAHA (North American Hockey Academy) for school and the Fall and Winter scouting season. Thanks for being a role model for the younger Lady Ducks and showing that hard work and determination pay off!
