12U Message
From Your Captain: (posted

Emma sent this message
regarding upcoming Nationals:
Heeeeeey my little ducklings,
First I just wanted to say how amazed I am of
this team. I love each and everyone of you. We all have different
strengths and weaknesses but that’s why we are great! I
believe that this team can take on anyone! Honestly this is the
BEST team I have ever played on and I am know if we work together
that we can beat anyone that wants to stand in the way. We have
fought through losses, tears, and fatigue but that is what brought
us together throughout the year. Everyone on this team contributes
greatly! The best part in my opinion about this year is: being
in the hotel rooms late at night, playing hall hockey, having
team meetings, going out to eat, laughing, making friends, passing
around the duck, and mostly playing the sport we all love. Let’s
go kick some bootay!!!
Annie- you
have amazing hands and killer moves <3
Nicole- you have the
speed everyone wants and the best attitude of anyone I have
ever met <3
Taylor [tails]- you
are such a great captain, you always pump us up and always
work so hard <3
Dylanne [thug life]- you
always give one hundred percent all the time no matter what
line you are on and are a standout player on the ice<3
Nora- you have come
so far this year and you always hustle to every puck and everyone
is so proud of what a great hockey player you have become<3
Sophia- you played
outstanding during districts in points and assists, keep up
the good work!<3
Demi- you also have
come so far this year, you are such a stud and are not afraid
of going after the biggest guy on the team <3
Onya- you have shown
so much dedication to this team and it really shows, you are
such a great player, keep it up! <3
Lauren [Mcat]- you
show so much heart for this team, and are one of the best “defencewoman” in
the nation <3
Mckenna- your shot
and skating have gotten so much better and you are a great “D” <3
Kaliya [shorty]- you
show so much heart and aggressiveness every time you step on
that ice and always standout with your speed and shot <3
Lexi [sexi lexi]- your
stick handling and skating have gotten to be amazing, you show
how much you care about this team and are a fabulousss captain <3
Beth- you are playing
with girls and boys much older and are holding you own very
well <3
Noelle [noey]- you
are outstanding and what proves that is the skills competition,
you are a tremendous goalie and we are so proud to have you
on our team <3
Coach Kathy- I could
go on forever about you. You and Vicky have taught me and everyone
on the lady ducks so much this year. WE have gone through thick
and thin together and I am so proud to call you my coach.
Coach Vicky- You are
an amazing hockey player and an ever better coach.

16U Team Wins Louisville Cup
(posted 10/27/04):
Lady Ducks 16U team scored big this past weekend, bringing home the Championship from their first tournament of the 2004-2005 season.
Playing in the Big Bear Tier 1 16U Tournament in Detroit, Michigan, the Lady Ducks were 2-1, securing their spot in the Championship Game on Sunday.
The other team to win a slot was the Windsor Wildcats, the 17U team from Canada and the only game loss on the Lady Ducks’ tournament record.
Tough competition, but the girls were ready.
Kelly Biddle put the first goal on the board at 7:55 in the 1st period, with an assist from Courtney Hanlon.
The Wildcats went on to tie at 1:31 left in the period.
Courtney Hanlon scored the second goal for the Lady Ducks at 9:20 in the second and the Wildcats answered back with a goal of their own.
The tie continued through the first three minute, 4 on 4 overtime.
The game-winning goal came at 2:03 in the 3 on 3, double overtime.
Assisted by Courtney Hanlon, Kelly Biddle’s goal (her second in the game) gave their team the win in this hard fought match.
For this group of girls that had only played four games together as a team this season, victory was earned by playing their game strong defensively
with a disciplined offense.
Congratulations to the Lady Ducks 16U team. What a great way to begin a winning season!
