| The Anaheim Lady Ducks seek to provide a positive, challenging and constructive environment for girls and young women where they may, through the sport of ice hockey, grow to be strong, confident, and successful adults. The Anaheim Lady Ducks will support and grow the sport of ice hockey for girls, pledging to teach and develop players from the youngest ages through to those moving on to competitive collegiate opportunities. |

KATHY MCGARRIGLE, DIRECTOR
8U, 10U, 12U HEAD COACH
Kathy begins her 14th year with the Lady Ducks program and her 16th
year coaching hockey. A former USC Division I college tennis player and elite
soccer player and 4-letter athlete in High School, Kathy began playing hockey
after college, where she learned the game quickly in adult leagues and attending
youth clinics run by Jack White. As a player, she went on to participate in 8
USAH Women's Nationals, earning medals a few times.
Kathy, now in her 20th year as a Science & Physical Education
teacher, began coaching hockey in 1996. In addition to her Sports Journalism
degree from USC, she earned her Masters in 1998 in Kinesiology and sport history
(writing the Thesis: Female Hockey in the United States 1898-1998). She took her
knowledge of young athlete development, background in instruction and training
as a tennis instructor/coach the ten years previous, and developed the fledgling
Anaheim Lady Ducks into the Nationally-Recognized Female Hockey Program that it
is today.
In her spare time, Kathy enjoys travel, especially locations with historical
significance. In 1997, she taped the 98 Olympic NIKE commercial with Cammi
Granato, “Just Do It!”.

TRACY FRAZER
8U, 10U, 12U MINOR ASSISTANT COACH
Tracy Frazer begins her 6th
year with the Lady Ducks where she continues to work with young players in skill
development and is known for her popularity among players, making the game fun
and a sport for a lifetime for our LD players.
Tracy, a Master at Kung-fu, has taken her multi-sport background and is
focused on developing young girls into great hockey players and strong positive
young women. Tracy’s background in
softball, roller hockey, Kung-Fu, football, bowling, among others, gave her the
foundation to understand what it takes to be disciplined on and off the ice, for
success!
After competing at several NarCh women’s championships, Tracy came over to
ice hockey and competed Nationally with the So Cal Rays women’s club. After earning medals at Nationals,
Tracy moved to support the Lady Ducks at the in-house level at termite, 8u and
10u. Her goals were simple: Help establish the FOUNDATION for the
future of girls’ hockey; Build skills and the LD program from the youngest
players up, by teaching young girls from their first day on the ice through what
is now known as the ADM. This continues to be Tracy’s area of strength and she
is excited to continue developing great LD talent!

DANIELLE RAMIREZ
12U & 16UAAA ASSISTANT
Coach Dani returns to the Lady Ducks as a second year coach with the 12u program and will assist with the 16AAA as her work/time permits. Dani only began playing hockey when she was 12 but quickly improved and honed her skills. A Lady Duck alumni (2000- 2003), helping the program to win its first Pacific District Championship in 2001, Dani went on to play Division I Hockey at the University of Vermont, where she also earned a BA in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology.
In 2011-12, Coach Dani, took the Lady Ducks 12uAA team all the way to the Pacific District Championship game, surprising many with the growth of that group is such a short time.

TODD MARCHANT
14UAAA HEAD COACH & 19U ASSISTANT
A 17-year NHL veteran, the Lady Ducks are ecstatic to add Todd to their outstanding staff this season. Although he was seen on the ice from time to time over the last 3 years, Todd will be taking a more active role with Girls this year as co-head coach of the 14uAAA team while assisting on other LD teams. Coach Todd not only brings a wealth of knowledge from his playing career but has been director of a successful summer hockey camp in Buffalo, NY for 15 years. He brings great instructional and motivational skills to the Lady Ducks and emphasizes playing with strong skills, a high “compete” level and being “coachable”. Todd’s dedication to the Girls Program is an asset for all current and future Lady Ducks.
Todd is the Director of Player Development for the Anaheim Ducks and was a member of the 2007 Stanley Cup Championship team. He is a 4 time Silver Medalist at the US National tournament as a player and was a member of the 1994 US Olympic Mens Ice Hockey Team. He is married to Caroline Marchant and they have 4 children, two of whom are Lady Ducks. In his spare time, Todd may be seen driving the family motorhome, playing golf or taking charge of the barbecue at home.

BRANDON PARRA
14UAA HEAD COACH
Hubel Brandon Parra is stepping in for the first time as a Lady Ducks and Jr. Ducks Head Coach. His hockey-playing roots come from organizations such as the Jr Ducks, the Jr Kings and would eventually end with the Penticton Vees Junior Hockey Club. With over 15 years of International Hockey Experience as a Player and Coach, his pro active and attention to details coaching method have given him an edge training and motivating today's Players. Brandon is well respected as a Head Instructor for Pro Ambitions Hockey Inc., the largest Hockey Camp outfit in the World. His Network includes connections with Hockey East Coaches, USA Hockey NTDP Players and Coaches, former and current NHL players and Scouts and several minor hockey players and coaches.
Brandon has worked with some of the best in the nation and with teams from the In-house level to AAA caliber. His knowledge, patience, and hands on experience will be a great addition to the coaching staff.

CAROLINE MARCHANT
14UAAA CO HEAD COACH, 12UAAA & 19U ASSISTANT
Caroline, an LD veteran coach of 5 years, began coaching in 2003. A former collegiate basketball player at Clarkson University, “Coach Cee” earned her B.S. in Industrial Engineering before raising a hockey-playing family (4 children) with husband Todd.
Originally from the east coast where hockey was always part of her family’s life, Caroline began playing hockey later, as an adult. Along with coach Kathy, coach Caitlin and coach Jessica, she was part of the Silver Medal winning LD women’s team at USAHockey Nationals, in 2010. As a coach, she has worked her way up through mini-mites, mites, squirts and now is focused on the LD 12u and 14u teams, moving to the 19u this season, as well. Caroline’s level 4 certification, along with First-aid and CPR are the standard among the LD coaching staff.
Caroline has recently stepped in to help Direct the LD program and to continue to support the growth and improvement of the Lady Ducks each year! Cee is an avid scrap-booker and all around amazing mom.

BRITTANY TRANI
14UAA ASSISTANT
Brittany is another in a line of Lady Ducks alumni who have competed IN the program and have come back to get involved with the girls as a coach and positive female mentor for our players. Brittany works with our youth program and is committed to developing skills.

CAITLIN HOGAN
16UAAA HEAD COACH
In her Third-year with us, former Division I women’s ice hockey player at St. Cloud State University (2006-2010) and Patty Kazmaier Award Finalist, Caitlin Hogan ended her career as the All-Time Leading Scorer in St. Cloud State Women's Hockey history.
Caitlin graduated from St. Cloud State with her BA in Business marketing emphasizing in consumer behavior and a Minor in Mass Communication.
Caitlin is currently a Marketing Assistant at Educational Insights. Her personality to achieve is magnetic with the girls and they work hard, setting high goals and reaching them. The 2011-2012 16u squad, again won the 16u Pacific District tournament under her leadership and looks to do even more this season as they set their sights on a Medal at USA Hockey Nationals.
Hailing from Oakdale, MN, Caitlin spent a lot of time in the car, travelling to Hockey tournaments and family vacations. Caitlin, an all-around athlete, also enjoys playing guitar and tossing the boomerang in her spare time.

GARY COX
16UAAA ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Gary, is returning to assist with the 16AAA team this year. A former junior player, Gary played Junior A for the St. Boniface Saints, WHL Moose Jaw Warriors, and later for the University of British Columbia. He finished his career as a pro in Sunderland, England and Assen, Netherlands.
Gary has an excellent and varied coaching background including youth midget AAA in Winnipeg, Canada – Head Coach St Boniface, to Mite A thru Peewee AAA over the last 7 years at the LA Jr. Kings where his sons play. Gary’s coaching style meshes well with the girls, creating excellent drills, correction, reinforcement and respect for players and their development.
Gary is married and lives with his wife and four children in Los Angeles.

STEVE DOUGHERTY
14UAA ASSISTANT COACH
Steve steps into the Lady Ducks program for the first time after moving to California last summer. Steve has coached camps throughout the US and Canada and experienced playing both Junior and college hockey. His desire to live the “California dream” brought him west and he is currently working, coaching and attending school. Steve enjoys, working with both in house and travel players of all ages. In his free time he likes to work out and hopes to complete coursework as a Strength and Conditioning coach in the near future.

MARK VILLA
16UAA ASSISTANT COACH
Mark has been a great supporter of the Lady Ducks program. He is a dedicated husband, father and coach. He enjoys working with the youth and passing on his excitement of the game. Mark is married to Angela and has a daughter who is in the LD program and a son who plays for the Jr. Ducks. When not at the rink he is part owner/brew master of the Old Orange Brewery.

JESSICA HAWKINS
16UAA HEAD COACH
Jessica is another Lady Duck Alumnus now on staff with the girls as a coach and mentor to players. Jess started playing roller hockey in Irvine at age 9. Made the switch to ice hockey at age 12. Played for the Lady Ducks, helping that team win their first Pacific District Championship in 2001) and Cal Selects. Went on to play at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and won a National Championship in 2008.
She recently completed her BS in Health Science at CSU Fullerton and has a level 4, Advance USAHockey Coaching certification Jessica resides in the City of Orange and Works at the Pacific Ranch Market in the bakery. Coach Jess works hard to develop player skills and gives private lessons and coaches in-‐house leagues at Anaheim Ice as well as her position with the Lady Ducks. Jessica is known for her “sick hands” and sniper like shooting accuracy.For fun, Jess plays on an adult league team at Anaheim Ice. She also enjoys hanging out with friends and playing pool.
She is also a skilled golfer and tries to get away and snowboard on occasion.

YVES LE SIEUR
19UAAA HEAD COACH
Welcome to the first-year Lady Ducks Coach, Yves Le Sieur. Yves began playing hockey at age 3 in his hometown of Montreal, Canada. He was a competitive youth defenseman, culminating with 3 years at the Junior A level, then a year of college hockey with the University of Montreal, and training camp Trois Rivieres Draveurs of the Quebec Major Junior League. A defenseman with speed and toughness, Yves made the best of his diminutive stature with grit and desire.
Yves transitioned into coaching with several club level teams in the Montreal area, before moving to the United States to continue his education. He stepped into coaching again as the Head Coach for the Southern California Rays Women Hockey team, the first women’s team from California to compete Nationally, winning at many events and competing at USA Hockey Nationals.
Having developed his career, Yves comes back to Women's Hockey with the Lady Ducks. His goals are to compete at a national level, guiding young women toward collegiate athletic opportunities. A passionate and fiery coach with a strong emphasis on team conditioning and fundamentals skills, Yves brings the same passion as a coach that he demonstrated during his playing career. He adds excellent communication skills and leadership to round out his talents and lead the 19uAAA LD team to a successful season!
