Kathy McGarrigle, 12AAA and 14AAA Head Coach, Assisting with the development of all
Lady Ducks teams/players.
Kathy brings over 20 years of playing experience and
seven trips to USAHockey Women’s National Championships. She has earned her
Advanced Coaching Certification and has been with the Lady Ducks since the
beginning in 2000. She has coached Lady Ducks teams to the Girls National
Championships 7 times ~ 6-in-a-row, 2005-2010 earning 3 Bronze and 1 Gold
medal in the last four years. She developed the structure for the Lady Ducks 10U and 8U developmental programs and produced the first 8U team in California in 2006. Player development is her strongest asset. Kathy has worked 20 years as a teacher in elementary, middle and High School. She earned a Master's Degree in Kinesiology and wrote the Master's thesis "Female Hockey in the United States: 1892-1999" |

Jessica Hawkins, 19U
Coach
Grew up in the Lady Ducks Program. Played Division I college hockey at University of Minnesota, Duluth. She was a member of the 2008 NCAA Championship team. This is her 2nd year coaching the Lady Ducks. Jess brings her elite scoring ability and excellent connections to college programs to work with and assist players in contacting and matching college-bound athletes to programs.

Danielle Ramirez, 16U
Assistant Coach
Grew up in the Lady Ducks program. Played Division I college hockey at the University of Vermont. Returns to the LD program as an assistant for her first year coaching. Dani brings her knowledge of defense to the program. She will emphasize stronger development of a defensive core and help prepare our players for the college game. She is also a great mentor for future female college athletes.

Caitlin Hogan, 16U Coach
Minnesota born, Divison I elite college player, Caitlyn is in her second year with the LD Program. Caitlyn was a Patty Kazmaier Finalist and Standout forward for St. Cloud State University. She brings energy, knowledge, and excellent leadership to the 16s this year. Her rapport with many college coaches is a key to her communicating on the girls’ behalf to college scouts. She is focused on mentoring our college-bound players.

Gary Cox, 16U
Assistant Coach
Gary was a former junior player in Canada as well as the BHL (British Hockey League) and JHL (Japanese Hockey League) and brings his strong roots for the game, knowledge base and experience to the Lady Ducks program this year. We look forward to seeing his strong leadership to help prepare the 16s for another trip to the National tournament.

Andy Silva, 14AA Coach
Andy returns for his 8th year with the LD program. His extensive knowledge of the game and coaching experience from 8u through 19u, Andy is going to focus this year on developing the skills and fundamentals of our intermediate players. Andy has worked with his 3 daughters’ teams for years and has been a great help growing the LD program. His experience with player development from mini-mite through to the college ranks is his strength. His team goals are certain: Improve everyone, play everyone, prepare everyone for the next level.

Caroline Marchant, 12AAA,
14AAA
Caroline brings 8 years of coaching and player development experience to the LD program. As a returning coach in her 5th year with the program, her focus on play making and emphasis on speed and flow is a big asset to the program. Caroline has improved the off-ice training and teambuilding aspects of the entire LD program. |

Alaina Clark, 12AA
Alaina is coming to the Lady Ducks program for the first time this season! A highly scouted California player and member of the Cal Selects program in the early 2000s, Alaina played Division I college hockey at Boston College and returned to start her career in law enforcement. She is a great communicator, and will bring her knowledge of all aspects of the game to our program. We look forward to her energy and motivation to move the 12s to great heights!

Tracy Frazer, 8U and 10U
Tracy is in her 8th year coaching with the Lady Ducks. She loves working with the younger players and exposing them to the basic skating, passing, shooting and positioning which is so important at this level. She gained a lot of knowledge last year as a first-time Head Coach and is looking forward to another fantastic season with the 10s. She is also moving full time to work with the 8u program and get our Girls started off in the best way possible

Vicky Wang, 8U and 10U
Vicky took last year off, but has been an integral part of the LD program, as a coach and instructor for the last 8 years. Vicky, a former Chinese Olympian and one of the World’s top defensemen, brings amazing knowledge of the game, especially her skill development in skating and puck handling. We look forward to Vicky’s return to the LD and her leadership and collaboration with Coach Tracy at the 8s & 10s.
